Week 12

Mariah is all finished up, so we are talking UP TO DATE here! This is her and Koda Bear. She LOVEs that dog and he loves her, as you can see. Kit used was by Diane Engebertson called "She's All That" I love this kit! Way cool!

Good Grief I'm still behind. I am working on week 12, but still have week 11 to finish up. Not much but that is not the point! I'm behind and have been working on this all day long. Well, other things too. I'm starting a new endeavor! How cool is that? It is far from off the ground but it will get there. If my maid would show up more often, I would have more time! This is Mariah and Koda. He is such a great dog and Ry loves him with all her heart. Him and Gizzy her cat. I found a new designer that I ran across in one of my newsletters. Her name is Danielle Engebretson and she is at Scrapbookgraphics and DigiChick. She is a guest designer at Scrapbookgraphics right now. I LOVE all her designs and NEED them! This kit is called "She's All That" and the colors she uses, in all her kits, are awesome. I also used a template for this layout. I am still not crazy for them, but the ones I do get and use, I love them. This template is by Jeanye Labaya called "Cleaver Endeavor". Great template, I like it because it is busy. So first layout of week 12....

Brody done for week 12...BUT still have Week 11 to finish up. And I am waiting for a kit to be re-released. Hope it is soon. I have to write things down or I will forget! Not because I am getting old, because I have to many irons in the fire at the moment! Sounded good!

Brody, Mariah and Maddy Week 12

I get A LOT of newsletters and read ALL of them, well for some reason a newsletter came through from SuzyScraps and I missed it. So looking around I see that she had a free kit for newsletter subscribers! WHAAATT? Well where is mine? So I wrote to Suzy and she was kind enough to send me her kit. Thank you Suzy!! Its AWESOME!! I had so much fun playing with it!

Week 11

Another layout done, this one using Mye De Leon kit called Forest Friends. You can find this great kit at GottaPixel.

I changed the layout of the Sepia picture. Just wasn't happy with the other one, but this one I like...I think! It's At the Park and I will have to look up who the creator of the kit is.

I LOVELOVELOVE this picture! I had no idea what I was going to do with it until last night when a new kit came through called Sugary Sweet by Studio Rosey Posey at Scrapbookgraphics. I love the muted painted looking colors of the paper. The Blown Bubbles are from Ztamph at Scrapbookgraphics.

Okay I broke down and joined The Daily Digi. I have wanted to join for so long but never quit understood what you could get. So I wrote to Steph and asked her.....what I see is what I get? And before she could answer me...I went for it! I did get a note back saying "YES, WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET"! And I sure did. WOW it is awesome! So in my new club I got an awesome kit by WendyZine called Heartfirst and I LOVE IT! I used this kit for the last two pictures of Mariah for week 11. Couldn't be happier with the way it turned out.

Brody & Mariah Week Ten

Great pic! She didn't want her picture taken and her mom said tough! So this is the first one I got! She did mellow out and take two other "face" shots! I told her..Mariah Paige, paint those nails. The reply that came back, it came off when I was playing football. I guess I'm just glad the nails aren't painted black. LOL

Finishing up week 10. This picture goes with the above, she finally got "with it" and the pics turned out great!

This kit is by Sabrina Lopez Dupre called Spring-A-Ling. Great spring kit. I also used a template by RosyPosy. It was a freebie and it is awesome!

Now to finish up week 11, since week 12 is here!

Uggg, as usual I am behind. How can I get behind? Because I keep finding other pictures of the kids to scrap and am not staying on my weeks! Plus lost mojo for a couple of days don't help! I had a heck of a time coming up with a kit I liked for this picture of Brody. I ended up using a couple of kits. I did a search for the zebra background and ended up making my own. I found a pattern and pieced it together. The kits I used were really 3 kits. I used two kits from PickleberryPop's new PickleBarrel collections. Fay-ETTEs kit called "Monster Jam", and "PlayFooling" by JumpStart Designs and "SqueekyClean" by Lindsay Riches and Ziggle Designs by Kami. Great kits! I also used part of a template. The template was a freebie from FiddleDeeDee Designs.

Brody & Mariah Week Nine February 25-March 2, 2012

This is the 2nd layout for week 9. I had to scrap this, can you blame me? He is such a ham! Make yourself comfy B-Man! The kit I used for this layout is by Blagovesta and can be found at Scrapbookgraphics.

I love this kit and the elements are soooo boy!

Brody & Mariah Week Eight 18-24, 2012

What a little man he is! Hands in his pocket and usually that famous B-Man smile! I used a little bit from about 5 designers on this layout. I will have to go in and check and list them when I have time. Such great kits. I usually "shop" and find a kit I like, buy it when it is in the budget! Sometimes I am looking ahead for what my 52 weeks might bring. I try to buy most of my kits on sale, I have a running list of "gotta haves" that might be for later, or waiting for that sale! I think I have bought 2 kits that have not been on sale, and the designers are usually very good about giving good sales!
So this is what I came up with for week 8, using different "little/big boy" kits.

Brody & Mariah Week Seven February 11-17, 2012

Sometimes I actually amaze myself, I actually finished week 7 before the week is 1/2 over! My DIL sent me the pics last night, fresh off the camera and I scrapped this morning. I LOVE this kit by
Bloagovesta Gosheva. I love the colors, I love the elements, I love the paper, I just LOVE IT! The Happy Valentine's Day word art at the top of the page is by Cinnamon Scraps. She has/had an awesome Valentine Day freebie kit! Chock full of elements and papers!

I was so excited last night when Ry's mom sent me black and white photo's and one with a heart of RED! I looked for a couple of hours for black and white kits. I wanted some red of course, but didn't find much. Most were very elegant. This morning, I figured that I must have some black and white and red in my stash. I have enough of everything to find somethings. And sure enough, I came up with tons of things. A lot of them were freebies that I had in my folder. So with going from one folder to another, I came up with all the things I needed!

This is him on Super Bowl Sunday. I found a fabulous kit by Sweet Digi Scraps! This kit was a freebie and was more than perfect for this SBS layout! I want to Thank Liz for offering such a great kit and for FREE!
